A man is being hunted by the police over claims he chased a group of children from a park while brandishing a sword.
South Yorkshire Police said a group of children were threatened by the man in Wolfe Park Foxhill, last Sunday night.
The force said the man initially approached the children and spoke to them about their behaviour before warning that he would return with a sword.

The youngsters told officers he did return with a weapon and chased them from the park.

A police spokesman said: "During the evening of Sunday, April 16, an unidentified male approached children in the park on Wolfe Road.
"The male admonished the children about their behaviour and told them he would return with a sword.
"A short time later he did return and was armed with a sword - it is not known whether it was real - and chased the children from the park."
