Man trapped under car in Sheffield

A man has been hospitalised after being crushed by a car in Sheffield.

The Star understands the man was pinned underneath the car he was working on at Hackenthorpe, on Monday night.

Three fire crews - from Birley Moor, Tankersley and Parkway - attended the scene at Rainbow Road, along with police and ambulance officers.

Emergency services were called shortly before 6pm.
