Man suffered fractured cheekbone and eye socket after reported South Yorkshire pub attack

A man was left with a fractured cheekbone and eye socket after reportedly being attacked in the car park of a South Yorkshire pub.

Its reported that a 26-year-old year old man was in the car park outside the Mason's Arms pub in Bawtry Road, Wickersley in Rotherham when he was assaulted by another man.

The 26-year-old suffered serious facial injuries, including a fractured cheekbone and eye socket in the reported attack on Saturday, January 7.

Police have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Despite extensive enquiries and the circulation of CCTV stills to officers across the force, police say they have been unable to identify the man pictured but it is believed he could hold vital information.
