Man stole safe and cash from elderly Sheffield woman
A police E-fit has been released of a man wanted over the theft of a safe containing cash in Sheffield.
South Yorkshire Police said a man conned his way into a house in Norton Lees Road, Meersbrook, by claiming he needed to check the damp levels of the property.
An elderly woman allowed him inside and he stole a safe containing a large amount of cash.
The thief was about 50 years old, of a very large build and had white hair.
