Man stabbed in Sheffield refuses to talk to police

A man stabbed in Sheffield is refusing to co-operate with police officers investigating the attack.

South Yorkshire Police said the injured man was picked up by a taxi from Mason Lathe Road, Shiregreen and was driven to a police station, but when the cab pulled up he ran off.

POLICE: Man with sword chased children from Sheffield parkHe said: "At 2am on Wednesday, April 18, a male got into a taxi with a stab wound on Mason Lathe Road and was taken to the police station, where he ran off.

"The male was later traced to the Northern General Hospital and refused to cooperate with officers."
