Man spotted on top of busy Doncaster bridge 'taken for treatment'

A man who was spotted on top of a busy Doncaster bridge was taken by emergency services for hospital treatment.

Police closed the road over St George's Bridge close to the town centre at about 7.30pm last night amid concerns for the welfare of a man.
