A man is in hospital with serious injuries after head-on crash in Sheffield.

The 53-year-old was driving a grey Vauxhall Vivaro which was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a black BMW on the A628, Flouch.

A 24-year-old man driving the BMW and a 56-year-old man driving the Corsa sustained minor injuries.

The Vivaro driver was taken to hospital, where he is in a stable condition today.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash, which happened about three quarters of a mile from the Dog and Partridge pub, at 3.35pm on Saturday, August 20.

Witnesses should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
