Man rescued from river in South Yorkshire
A man was rescued from a river in Rotherham by emergency services this morning.
The man entered the River Don, near Corporation Street, in the town centre, at around 2am.
Police officers attended and rescued the man from the water.
Firefighters were also called, but when they arrived the man was already out of the water.
South Yorkshire Police has been contacted for further details.
