Man punched in face by robbers at South Yorkshire park
A man was punched in his face by two robbers at a South Yorkshire park.
The 31-year-old was walking home from work, heading from the interchange in Rotherham town centre towards Kimberworth, when he was targeted as he reached Bradgate Park.
He told South Yorkshire Police two men initially followed him before one of them overtook him and punched him in his face.
The other tripped the victim up, causing him to fall to the ground.
The victim was ordered to empty his pockets but he managed to run off to Tesco Express on Upper Wortley Road, where he raised the alarm.
He suffered minor facial injuries in the attempted robbery.
