Man left with broken jaw after unprovoked attack on two people in Sheffield city centre

Police have launched a CCTV appeal after two men were assaulted in Sheffield city centre, leaving one with a broken jaw.

Detectives investigating an unprovoked assault in Sheffield city centre are asking the public for their help to identify the man pictured on CCTV.

Two men were walking along West Street at around 4am on the Saturday morning of January 23 after a night out, when an unknown man approached them.

In an unprovoked attack, he assaulted both men, seriously injuring one of them and fracturing his jaw.

The man pictured in the CCTV image may be able to assist with the investigation and help detectives locate the man responsible.
