A man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision in South Yorkshire.
The man, who was riding a scooter, was involved in a collision with a red or burgundy Rover 25 in Highstone Lane, Worsbrough, Barnsley.
South Yorkshire Police said the car involved drove off.
The scooter rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition today.
Officers investigating the collision, which happened at 6.25pm on Wednesday, March 1, believe the car involved will have suffered significant damage and will be missing parts of its front bumper.
