Man injured after groups clash outside nightclub

A man suffered minor injuries after two groups of revellers clashed on a Sheffield street famous for its nightlife.

At about 2.50am on December 23, two groups of men started fighting inside a nightclub in Carver Street.

The two parties were then asked to leave the premises but continued fighting outside of the nightclub.

South Yorkshire Police have not yet confirmed the name of the nightclub where the incident took place.

Officers investigating the matter have released CCTV images of some men they believe could help with enquiries.

All five men are believed to be aged between 18-21 years of age.

Police are asking for anyone who may have seen the fight to call 101 quoting incident number 94 of 23 December 2015.
