A man is in hospital after being struck by a train in Sheffield last night.
The incident happened near to the East Bank tunnel, south of Sheffield railway station, at around 9.30pm on Friday.
Paramedics were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Trains to Manchester and Chesterfield were disrupted, but normal services were resumed at around 11pm.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said the man was hit by the 18.15 service from London St Pancras to Leeds, and that the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
