Man found with 'friction lock baton' in Sheffield search
A man who was searched by police in Sheffield last night was found to be in possession of an offensive weapon.
The man - who was challenged by officers in the Broomhall area last night - was found to be carrying a 'friction lock baton'.
Police said the man was charged with possession of an offensive weapon and would soon be appearing before magistrates.
