Man found injured by Doncaster roadside

Officers are urging any possible witnesses to come forward, after a man was found injured by a roadside in Doncaster town centre in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The collision occurred at about 2.50am yesterday morning, when officers were called to the Markets Roundabout where a 57-year-old man was found lying injured in the road, close to the junction with Church Way.

PC Kevin Harper, said: “The man was taken to hospital where he currently remains in a stable condition.

“We believe he may have been involved in a collision with a vehicle and I would like to appeal to anyone who has any information about what happened to come forward.

“I appreciate this incident happened in the early hours of the morning but if you were in the area and saw or heard anything that you think could help with enquiries, please do let us know.”
