Police are investigating after a man’s body was found beneath the disused railway viaduct at Conisbrough.
The grim discovery was made by walkers using Conisbrough Viaduct, which crosses the River Don, at about 12.45pm yesterday and it is believed the man may have plunged about 100ft from the top.
A police spokesman said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the Doncaster Coroner.
The man is believed to have been in his 30s but has not been named.
It is the second fatality from the viaduct in the past three months.
