Man due in court after car overturns and bursts into flames in Rotherham

A man is due in court after the car he was driving overturned and burst into flames in a crash on a Rotherham road.

The 33-year-old was travelling along Packman Road, West Melton, when the car overturned on Monday night.

Firefighters dealt with the blaze and the driver was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

He was reported for summons for drink driving, meaning he has not been charged but he has been ordered to attend court over the offence.
