Man detained after police called to South Yorkshire supermarket
A man was detained after police were called to a supermarket in South Yorkshire today.
Officers responded to an incident Tesco Extra on Drummond Street in Rotherham town centre today at 10.15am.
South Yorkshire Police said: "A male has been detained from this isolated incident. His welfare is being taken care of and an investigation is underway."
A Tesco spokesman this afternoon said the company was supporting police with their enquiries.
