Man cut free from car following smash in Rotherham
A man has been cut free from a car in Rotherham this morning following a crash.
Emergency services were alerted to the collision in Droppingwell Road, Kimberworth, at 6.30am.
A Volkswagen Golf and a BMW were involved in the smash.
Firefighters removed the roof of one of the vehicles to remove the trapped man.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The extent of injuries is not yet known but they are not thought to be serious.”
