Man charged with alleged Sheffield burglary

City police have charged a 34-year-old man with burglary after a reported incident in Crookes area.

Andrew Cross, of Addy Close, Upperthorpe, appeared before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday October 25) charged with burglary.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at crown court on Tuesday November 22.

The charge relates to an alleged burglary of a property in Forres Road, which was reported on Sunday (October 23).

He is charged with further count of burglary in connection with an incident earlier this year, for which legal proceedings are ongoing.
