Man asked police for his cannabis back after being arrested for waving a bat in Sheffield suburb
A Sheffield man who was chased into the woods by police asked officers if he could have his cannabis back after he was arrested.
Police were called to Darnall very early this morning (May 20) to reports of a man waving a bat.
A Sheffield East Local Policing Team spokesman said: “Male located running into the bushes.
“Don’t think he could see the wood for the trees as although no bat was found, he did have a small amount of cannabis on him.
“A court date awaits for the litte scoundrel. He even had the cheek to ask for his cannabis back!”
