A man was arrested after a police car was involved in a crash on a Sheffield roundabout.

The police patrol car was involved in a collision with a blue Ford on the Coisley Hill roundabout, Woodhouse, at 10am yesterday.

The driver of the Ford, a 23-year-old man, was arrested at the scene after failing a roadside breath test and on suspicion of possession of class A drugs.

Both vehicles were damaged in the collision but nobody was injured in the smash.
