The 30-year-old man was arrested following a crash between a Ford Fiesta and BMW on Prince of Wales Road, Darnall, at around 2.15pm yesterday.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested following a reported collision in the Darnall area of Sheffield yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 13 March).

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Emergency services were called at around 2.15pm following reports a Ford Fiesta and BMW had been involved in a collision on Prince of Wales Road.

"It is understood that following the collision, the driver of the BMW - a 26-year-old man - got out of his car and he was involved in a further collision with the Fiesta.

"He was taken to hospital where his injuries were confirmed to be minor.

"The 30-year-old man remains in police custody being questioned by officers.

"Prince of Wales Road remained closed for a period of time yesterday while officers carried out enquiries at the scene."
