Man and woman seriously injured after ploughing into stone wall in Rotherham
A man and woman are in hospital in a serious condition after crashing into a stone wall in Rotherham.
South Yorkshire Police said a 22-year-old was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa along Hooton Road, towards Kilnhurst, when the car collided with a pillar and stone wall.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash at 7pm last night.
The driver and a 21-year-old female passenger were both taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Witnesses should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
