Man airlifted to hospital after crash in north Derbyshire

The man was riding a scooter which was involved in a crash with a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Volkswagen Golf near to the the Quarry Hill and Bramleymoor Lane junction of the B6056 at around 7.25am this morning.

The scooter rider has been taken to Northern General Hospital in Sheffield.

A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: "Although we expect the road to be clear soon, our current advice is to motorists is to find an alternative route."
