Man, 30, suffered broken jaw in town centre attack

A MAN suffered a broken jaw after a confrontation between two groups of men in Doncaster town centre.

Police are appealing for information about the attack on the 30-year-old Rotherham man on Printing Office Street.

He was with some friends going to a taxi rank when they were approached by another group of men. There was an argument and the man was assaulted by members of the second group.

The victim needed hospital treatment for the broken jaw.

Police are looking for two white men, aged between 24 and 30, of medium build, with short brown hair and between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall. One wore jeans and a white t-shirt and had gel in his hair. The other man was wearing blue jeans.
