TRADE unionists have chartered a train to take protesters to London for a national demonstration about Government cuts.

The train has been laid on by the RMT rail union on behalf of Sheffield Trades Union Council for the event next weekend.

It leaves from Sheffield at 7.23 on Saturday, October 20, and calls at Derby and Leicester before arriving at London St Pancras.

A return train has also been booked, leaving London at 4.45pm.

Tickets are £10 return for RMT members or £20 for all trade unionists.
Four coaches, which organisers are expecting to be fully booked, are also taking demonstrators to London on Saturday for the march.

For a seat on the RMT-chartered train, bookings are being taken by credit and debit card.
