Major Sheffield road sealed off by police tonight

A major Sheffield road has been sealed off by police tonight.

Wesley Avenue in Aston has been shut by South Yorkshire Police, although no further details are available at this stage.

Bus operator First South Yorkshire had said services have been disrupted by the incident.

It said that services 27 and X54 are being diverted directly along Worksop Road and are not serving the Wesley Avenue / Holderness Drive, Mason Avenue or Aughton Lane areas.
