Major Sheffield road closed due to flooding re-opens

Highways England have been called out to deal with flooding on a major Sheffield road, which was closed for five hours following a heavy downpour of rain yesterday.

A diversion was put in the place, and the road re-opened at around 4am this morning.

A number of other roads across the city are understood to have experienced flooding, following the heavy rain
