Major Rotherham road closed following collision
A major Rotherham road was closed after a pedestrian was hit by a car on Thursday (December 19).
It was reported that emergency services have closed both sides of Centenary Way heading from Canklow and the B&Q roundabout.
South Yorkshire Police said: “We received a call at around 3.25pm this afternoon with reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Centenary Way. Emergency services are on the scene.”
Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being.
