Major road near Sheffield closed after 'multi-vehicle accident'

The A57 Snake Pass is closed in both directions.

There is also slow moving traffic in both directions along Rivelin Valley Road.

Meanwhile, in an unconnected incident, several major bus services are suffering delays in Sheffield due to a broken down lorry.

Travel South Yorkshire tweeted: "First Sheff report that due to a broken down lorry, heavy traffic is affecting much of thier network - delays up to 38 mins."
