Major Doncaster road sealed off tonight after car smashes into road sign

Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident on Wheatley Hall Road opposite Sandall Park.

Police, a recovery vehicle and Doncaster Council employees are all at the scene.

There are unconfirmed reports that a white car has collided with a road sign near to the junction with Jefferson Avenue, Clay Lane.

The road is expected to re-open soon. It is not known if anyone is injured.
