A busy road through a Sheffield suburb is to be resurfaced as part of the city-wide Streets Ahead project.
The £2.2 billion project will see the city’s streets and pavements upgraded over 25 years.
From Monday, February 29, Manchester Road in Stocksbridge will be resurfaced from Unsliven Road to Vaughton Hill.
Vaughton Hill, Wortley Road and the lower section of Carr Road will also be resurfaced.
The work will be carried out between 7.30pm and 6am Monday to Friday, when the roads will be closed.
There will be no on-street parking during the roadworks.
Vehicles left on the roads may be towed away.
There will be access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles.
