M18 closed over fears for safety of a man
The M18 in South Yorkshire was closed earlier this morning following concerns for the safety of a man.
Emergency services closed the road in both directions between junction two at New Edlington and the junction with the M1 motorway in the early hours of the morning.
South Yorkshire Police said the closure caused 'significant' traffic disruption but the road is now re-open.
The man involved in the incident is safe.
