Emergency crews reportedly taped off a residential street in Sheffield today after a fire caused severe damage to a flat.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue have confirmed no one was hurt in the blaze on Lowedges Drive, but the building was “badly damaged”. Locals have described how the emergency response meant they couldn’t access the road, following the emergency call out at around 2pm.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue revealed the fire has been dealt with, and crews are preparing to leave the scene.
