HOME-GROWN pop star Louis Tomlinson gave poorly youngsters an extra Christmas treat.
Louis, who is from Doncaster and is a patron of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in North Anston, is a member of chart-topping group One Direction.
He arranged for six children to receive festive gifts and sent a special cake by courier from London.
Heidi Megaughin, acting hospice CEO, said: “Our children and their parents were over the moon with their toys and the fact he had written personal messages on the gift tags made it even more special.”
It supports more than 150 children costing £3 million to run annually.
