Lost friends from Butlins
My name is Dallas Foster and I live in Leicester. It must be 20 years or so ago that Helen, my wife and I used to go with our kids to Butlins Skegness and we met a couple through sequence dancing.
Arthur and Mary come from the Chesterfield area. I’m sorry that I don’t have a surname for them but they took Helen and myself under their wing as we were raw beginners.
All that I know is Arthur was a painter and decorator, but I don’t know what Mary did for a living. They were good friends with a couple from Sheffield called Ron and Marian Goldberg, Ron passed away a good few years back as we went to his funeral.
It would be great if we could get back in touch with them again.
