Lorry incident reduces northbound M1 to one lane

An accident involving a lorry has reduced the M1 northbound between junctions 30 and 31 to one lane.

The incident occurred at around 3.30pm and resulted in the lorry shedding its load of glass.

The highways agency say delays are building and the emergency services are en-route.

5pm Update: Just 1 lane closed now. Contractors continuing work to clear the glass. Long delays from J28.
