Locks drilled by thieves in Doncaster

Tools have been stolen from a number of vehicles parked in Doncaster.

Police have urged vigilance after a spate of thefts from vans in Hartlepool.

Thieves have struck twice in Corona Drive, Thorne and offences have also been reported in Moorends and Stainforth.

Victims said the thief or gang responsible drilled the locks to get into the vehicles.

Witnesses to the incidents or anyone with information about those responsible should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
