LIVE INCIDENT: Police called to incident at Sheffield estate convenience store

A Sheffield estate corner shop has been closed after police were called to an incident there this evening.

Two police cars and an ambulance were called to the Co-op store on White Lane, Gleadless, at about 5.15pm today.

The incident, currently believed to be some sort of robbery, has led to the store being closed, with a police car parked in front of the entrance.

South Yorkshire Police has been contacted but has not yet made any details of the incident available.
