Due to phenomenal demand, Little Mix have announced an extra Sheffield date for their 2016 Get Weird Tour.
The world’s biggest girl group will play yet another Saturday show at Sheffield Arena on 23rd April 2016 – which will be an extra special occasion as it will be the final night of their 34 date arena tour ending right here in Sheffield.
The additional show has been added following their now sell out show at Sheffield Arena on Saturday 2nd April 2016. Tickets for the extra date go on sale Friday 4th December at 9am.
The news comes hot on the heels of Little Mix’s incredible X Factor performance during the first week of live finals which saw them perform ‘Black Magic’ and new single ‘Love Me Like You’. Both tracks are taken from their highly successful new album ‘Get Weird’ (out now) which has received outstanding reviews across the board and took the charts by storm.
Speaking of their additional shows Little Mix said; “"We're so excited to add new dates to our Get Weird tour! We can't wait to perform all the new tracks from the album as well as some old favourites."
Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall became Little Mix in 2011. They have sold over 7 million records, had two UK No.1 singles and two platinum albums ‘DNA’ and ‘Salute’. As well as a successful arena tour they have been the recipients of both a Cosmo Ultimate Woman Award and a Glamour Women Of The Year Award. With over half a billion YouTube and Vevo views worldwide, they’ve also successfully become one of Britain’s greatest exports with massive tours in the US, Australia and Japan – breaking the Spice Girls’ long-held record of highest debut US chart position for a UK girl group in the process.
Tickets for the extra date go on general sale at 9am on Friday 4th December, priced £38.50 & £27.50 including booking fee when booked online at Sheffield Arena or through the ticket hotline on 0114 256 56 56.
