LITTERbugs in Rotherham are paying the price after four local people appeared in court.
Lynn Wharmsley of North Road, East Dene, was convicted in her absence for dropping a cigarette end in Frederick Street.
She was fined £175 with £180.74 costs and a victim surcharge of £15.00, to be paid within 14 days.
Lisa Machin, of Carlisle Street, Rotherham, pleaded guilty to two littering offences within the town centre.
She was fined £225, with £100 costs and a victim surcharge of £15.
Jodie Worsley, of Howard Road, Bramley, was convicted in her absence of dropping a cigarette end in the town centre and was fined £50, order to pay £80 costs and victim surcharge of £15.
Gary Neill of Bramwell Street, Eastwood, was convicted at an earlier hearing for carrying controlled waste without a licence.
He was fined £525, ordered to pay costs of £424.33 and a victim surcharge of £15.
