LISTED: These are the 10 most crime-ridden streets in Sheffield

Sheffield's 10 most crime-ridden streets have been revealed today, with 800 offences committed on one street alone last year.

A Freedom of Information Act request submitted to South Yorkshire Police by the Star has revealed the 10 streets with the most reported crimes.

These offences, including assaults, robberies and sex attacks on women, were recorded between January and November 2017.

On the 10 streets in the city with the most recorded crime last year, 1,071 offences related to thefts from shops and stalls.

There were 652 assaults, 73 thefts from vehicles, 52 robberies, 41 house burglaries, 34 sex attacks on women and 29 possession of cannabis offences on the streets.
