A listed building close to Sheffield University is set to be turned into apartments.

The Grade II listed former office building at 305 Glossop Road will be refurbished to create 12 apartments suitable for students and visiting lecturers.

Built as a house in 1840, the property is currently empty. “This office space is now surplus to the city’s requirements and a new use should be found to secure its future,” architects White Design say in a statement to Sheffield Council planners.
