Lidl planning on opening nearly 30 new stores across Sheffield and Doncaster

The discount German chain has become a big-hitter in the UK supermarket scene in recent years – and is now looking to open even more stores across our region – including a whopping 22 in Sheffield in the coming years as it continues its expansion plans.
The chain says it wants to double its existing portfolio and to continue its ‘phenomenal growth’ it requires further sites.

Hide Ad22 new stores are being looked at for the Sheffield area and five in Doncaster – both places where the chain already has a number of existing outlets.
