Library campaigners will not go away

Have your say

Labour Council bosses are still refusing to reveal which libraries are on their hit-list for closure, despite repeated attempts by campaigners to get this information released.

More than 12,000 have signed our petition against library closures and now it appears that Labour leaders are in their Town Hall bunker, hoping that community campaigners will simply go away.

Well, let me say that we have no intention of going away.

Communities want to see their library saved and are willing work with the council to make sure that happens.

However, when the council refuse to engage with local people, how can we work together to save a community resource that we all love?
