LETTERS: ‘MPs should learn not to moan to the press’

Have your say

With reference to the Barnsley East MP Michael Dugher, and any other Labour MP wishing to wash their dirty linen in public. You deserve everything you get or not.

I have no problem with MPs disagreeing with their leader and that is what is required at times, but under no circumstances do you do your moaning in the press or on TV interviews. You were elected on a Labour party ticket and in the end you respect the party line whether you agree with it or not.

The sooner all MPs, including our own Angela Smith, gets behind the leader of their party, the more of a chance we will have of getting rid of this vile Conservative government. We all bemoan children who have no discipline and respect yet we have those we aspire to be in political terms acting and showing children just how not to act.

These so-called socialists need to keep their business in house not advertising differences to the press for sympathy on a issue. You don’t change anything in isolation.
