LETTERS: Council '˜seem happy to have empty Sheffield city centre'
Re your editorial, (January 12), about Meadowhall's success and the city centre's decline.
The choice currently is between free parking at Meadowhall and paying an arm and a leg to park in/near the city centre.
The result is predictable.
Sheffield council seem quite happy to have a car-free and people-free city centre.
If you were cynical you’d think there was special car parking provision for councillors.
