Let's get socialising

The pubs and working men’s clubs brought people out to sit and chat over drinks and sort the world and its problems out.

Although it never did the world any good you felt you had achieved something and drinking buddies felt the same, so next time you see a pub or club bite the dust think of the good times had by all when people socialised.

Times are a changing but who says they are for the better when you don’t see your friends and neighbours any more.

Loneliness is widespread these days and it’s mainly because of the way we live and staring at four walls becomes the norm. Will people ever come together in the future? I can’t see it because the very thing that got you out is disappearing to make way for commercial premises.
