HOUSE hunters can find their ideal home with a ‘one-stop’ online property search service launched today on The Star’s website.
Whether you’re looking to rent or buy, the new website at www.thestar.co.uk/property will seek out property where you’re looking to live.
The Star has teamed up with top online property specialists Zoopla to launch our new service, with local property news and market statistics.
Handy maps and an option to set up property alerts, and sort results by price are all on the same page for easy hunting, rather than having to find the key information separately.
Just by typing in a postcode you can access a breakdown of the most recent sales made so you won’t be caught unawares or pay over the odds.
With the economic climate slowing house prices there’s a function to check which houses have reduced the most in price - good for snapping up bargains or measuring your home’s worth. The service will make the stressful experience of moving home simpler.
There are also links to other useful resources like local estate agents.
Johnston Press, owners of The Star, are behind the new property platform with digital property leaders Zoopla.
Ashley Highfield, chief executive of Johnston Press, said: “Zoopla is one of the most innovative players in the online property space and this partnership sees them power an exciting new property platform for our local websites, adding further value to both our online audience and property advertisers.”
Zoopla is the UK’s second most popular property site and largest online property network with more than 12 million monthly visits to the website.
Joe Slavin, managing director of Johnston Press digital classifieds, said: “A key reason for partnering with Zoopla is the great technological features they bring to our new online property offering.”
